It's a Boy - Let's go Sailing

Are you ready to set sail?  I was totally enjoying making this little Sailboat card for another friend's baby shower.  It fit perfectly with the baby's nursery nautical theme.  She was even able to reuse the sailboat in her son's scrapbook.

The sailboat was cut from the "B is for Boy" Cricut cartridge.  The background was created using Stampin Up's Label's Collection Framelits Dies.  The swirls were done with an embossing folder and for the water I just tore some paper and inked the edges.

Such a sweet and simple card with a lot of impact.

Happy crafting,

Melanie

Baby Girl Shower Gift & Card

I hope everyone is having a great start to their week, I wanted to share with you some projects I made for a friend's baby shower this past weekend.  She is currently the mom of 3 wonderful and this current blessing was a little bit of a surprise.  As I am sure you have guessed by the pink she is have a little girl.  The whole family is so excited for Reese to join them.
This card I made with the Stocking Builder Punch and Stitched Stocking stamp set.  I also used the new Framelites from Stampin Up Occassions Mini catalog.

Here is the cute little onesie and hair clips that I made for Reese using the Big Shot and the Stampin Up Blossom Party and Fun Flowers dies.

Have a good rest of the week,
Melanie

2" Scallop Punch
1 3/4" Circle Punch
Swirls Embossing Folder
Cuttlebug

It's All about Baby!

This post is all about Babies, I am going to a friend's baby shower this weekend and it put me in that kind of mood.  I really love making banners, since they go together really quickly.

I used the same template I created for my parent's anniversary banner.  This scallop shape is really versatile.  I created it using my Gypsy.  In making the banner, I used the Accent Essentials, B is for Boy and the Songbird cartridges.

I hope this inspires some banner making.
